Avellanas Mixed Use Comunity
Location
Playa Avellanas is located 10Km south of Tamarindo, in the province of Guanacaste.
Access to the property can be reached by a fifteen minute drive from the Tamarindo regional airport, or a one hour and thirty minute drive from the Liberia International Airport.
Although relatively isolated in its tranquil surroundings, Avellanas’s fame is known among many, but especially surfers. Its waves offer a place for the experienced as well and beginners, making it an ideal place for families to spend their vacations. Due to effort to improve the roads in the region, the entire route from Liberia to Hacienda Pinilla is now comprised of newly paved roads.
By 2009, access to the site will be completed through the Ruta del Sol, a principal road that runs adjacent to the western side of Guancaste, Costa Rica’s largest province, is well know the property.
